The one thing I really hate (I actually hate lots of things lol) is people trying to take advantage of me, or taking my work and displaying it as their own and not give me credit. It makes me incredibly irritated. Granted, I get irritated at a lot of things. I also hate trying to not blurt out things when I know them. I don't like to be seen as a 'know-it-all', yet I am also the sort of person that must 'prove themselves' to other people. Then other people take credit for what I have done. And no one remembers my contribution to the project.

...Er, hello, I linked that ages ago? And now someone comes and totes the info and no one remembers that I was the first to volunteer the info???

Now, for a happier part of the post. I have recently gotten (re)addicted to a song that was part of an Akame fanvid, and in a frenzy to play it on the piano I went Googling for the sheets.

GOOGLE FAILED ME COMPLETELY.

The best I could manage was the first sample sheet. I had to either buy the sheets or buy the book. I declined, went on searching, and found one, but it was so complicated with notes that required my stubbly fingers to stretch to a length it didn't have, so I declined that too.

I printed out the one sample sheet.

I devoured it in the afternoon and wanted more.

I paced and fretted, and finally begged mum to buy the sheets for me. >_<

She agreed! :DDD She said yes and paid the US$5.25 for the 7 sheets, and I got my paws on them.

I'm still trying to play them, but I think it's awesome.

Irritation

I can get very irritated when my brother uses the computer until 2 minutes before 10 PM and hand it over to me. He KNOWS that I sleep at 10 - he also KNOWS that I need to use the computer to do my stuff and that by using it until a few minutes BEFORE 10 I get the be the one who has to clean up after the rest of the house, make sure the computer, modem and router is switched off safely, get to bed last AND wake up late. I am so pissed and annoyed.

But whatever. Next time I'll make sure he's the last one in. *grumbles*

I'm wondering if I should take part in a Japanese speech competition down south sometime in mid August. From what I can see, I just have to converse with the judges, and there is a list of questions they might/might not ask, so I have to study them and try to form good answers for them. Sometimes, they might ask stuff not on the list, but basically they'll start asking questions from the list and build on it.

Anyone who can speak Japanese fluently:

Writing HIGH! XD I am writing a dozen different stories, throwing all my concentration on scribbling, and ignoring my homework. I swear, I might regret this. Anyway, I WILL publish a book! XD One way or another, best-seller or not, I WILL PUBLISH SOMETHING!!

I just have a question...I put almost all of my stuff online. :'D I guess that'll probably affect my publishing...

Our teacher today gave out this sheet that's supposed to help with learning languages. One of the 'rules' said something about being 'confident' and 'don't be afraid to try' or something along those lines. Often during a Japanese conversation, I have wondered whether to slip in a word or two I know I have heard used before, but I never do, because I don't want to be seen as a showoff. For example, the usage of 'eeto...' and 'ano...'. It actually slips out before I can stop it, especially when I'm contemplating about how to answer a question, or trying to ask one. I honestly try not to use these at all, because 'officially' the teacher doesn't include these in the syllabus. I really don't want the class to think I'm just a snobbish brat, but then again, if I just stick to the stiff sentences we've been taught I don't sound very natural at all.

Anyway, I had a really wonderful dream and I'll put it under cut so I don't bore you. X3

To be honest, I don't remember a lot of the dream. You know how when you first wake up, you remember almost all of the dream? Then, as your day goes on, you remember less and less. Well, it's night for me now, and I guess the thing that stays with me most strongly from the dream is, as usual, the feelings. :'D (I think I use my dreams as a fantasy escape or something. XD I dunno. XDD) All I know is that Ray was in there. Ray, from Beyblade? XD Anyway, um.....I think my mind was really going through my mental archive, because I haven't thought about Ray for some time. XDD

In any case, in my lovely fantasy-ish dream, he was my boyfriend! *grabby hands* XD And it wasn't just the fact that he was, uh, my boyfriend. XD It was the 'fact' that my dream Ray loved me to bits, and I loved him to bits. XD Sorry, it sounds sappy, doesn't it?? *flails* Haha, I don't know how obvious it is to anyone else, but anyone who loves me for who I am will have me clinging to you. XDDD

...And for some reason, at one point in the dream, we were both cats rubbing against each other? XDD

It's not too bad

So, somehow I feel like college isn't a waste of time any longer. XD Recently, I've just been plodding along wondering if I'm going to spend the rest of my life studying. I still probably am going to spend the rest of my life studying, but at least I'm not in such a legarthic mood any longer...I hope?

English Writing teacher has been absent for two lessons now due to illness - just when I was truly enjoying myself. XD Still, can't say I'm entirely put-out, because although I love the writing prompts she gives us, I don't particularly care for how we have to share them around the class after. XDD I always write really badly, and really predictably. Still, it'll be nice when she comes back (apparently, tomorrow) because we still have to finish watching Chocolat! XD

I went to this scholarship talk thing today, and I'm really excited. XD I'm always excited when I get to fill in forms and apply for stuff. XD I'm thinking of applying for this scholarship where I get to take the second year off uni to go study in one of their participating partner university thing. I'm tossing between Japan or Canada (assuming I do decide to do this - unfortunately my first choice Singapore is not listed T~T) so awin, Dudly, are you anywhere near University of Ottawa, University of Windsor,University of Northern British Columbia, Memorial University of Newfoundland, University of Manitoba? I'm leaning more towards the first two since they're apparently in Ontario, but...? XD

Anyway, if I do decide to go, and if I get the scholarship, I'll either fly Japan or Canada. If not, I'll take the International Travel Scholarship, and go to Singapore and work. XD Or something. XDD It'll be fun!.....right??

Mmm, I can't wait to find out more about universities now! XD Logic (and mum) dictates that I apply to more than one uni, so I'll go UTAS, and Murdoch, University of Melbourne and University of South Australia. ^^ Isn't that fun, lots of forms to fill? XD Although, mum says I'll almost definitely get into UTAS, and I'll almost definitely stay here. ^^;

So, mum and I got really excited after seeing the 90 million lottery on TV. *laughs* We went and bought two tickets, I think. X) Here's to hoping we hit the jackpot! (How likely is it? Apparently, we're more likely to win a gold medal in the Olympics! XD)

You know, I don't really get what is so cool and chic about going to bed at 3 AM in the morning. There is this girl I cannot stand (the same one who copies my answers to assignments) who likes to go around asking people, "What time did you sleep last night?" and then adding that she slept at ____ AM in the morning. I couldn't care less if you didn't sleep at all and came to school with panda eyes. I don't want to hear how glorious it was staying up late partying or whatever. Screw off. It's annoying.
